Last Sunday morning I preached on the subject of “Be Yourself Everyone Else is Taken”.  My text was taken from Proverbs 18:16: “A man’s gift maketh room for him before great men.”  I made the point that we have to be ourselves and use the gifts that God has given us.  Too often we allow them to go unused thinking others can do the task.  All of us are not alike.  God has given us abilities that we are encouraged to use.  We cannot be like eveyone else, We must be ourself because everyone else is taken!

 

This Sunday I will be speaking on the subject: “Be Strong and Courageous.”  Text: Joshua 1:1-18.  This is a time when we as God’s children must be willing to claim what God has promised us.
